Welcome to Highland Kids where our goal is to have fun while learning about God! Through age-appropriate teaching, music, games and activities, your children, 0-12, will learn biblical truths and real life application.
Parents of babies (0 - 3 years old/not potty trained) can take comfort in knowing that their children are receiving exceptional, loving care in our nursery. We offer a calming atmosphere with worship music and incredible volunteers who are dedicated to your child's care and safety.
Pre-schoolers (3-5 years old/potty trained) will experience a fun room with music, toys and volunteers who are committed to teaching them God's Word through play, songs, a short video and a Bible story!
Highland Kids (K-6th Grade) offers students an awesome, upbeat atmosphere that encourages fun, connection and engagement. Our large group includes cool worship, teaching and videos that are age appropriate. During Sunday School, each grade breaks out into a small group where they will talk about what they learned in fun and engaging ways and will learn how to apply it to everyday life.
Four Friends Ministry:
If you have a special needs child, we are a congregation that welcomes you and your family! Trained volunteers lovingly serve these children and do whatever it takes to help them learn about Jesus on their level. Every child matters to us.
Our trained, professional serve team will accommodate any special needs through:
- Providing a buddy to assist your child to class.
- If necessary, leading a separate class that is appropriate for your child's needs.
- Assisting your child from vehicles into the church for worship.
- Offering ADA compliant parking spaces, restrooms and building entrance access.
- One-on-one prayer partners to pray for your needs.
We are dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. To subscribe to our monthly newsletter, Click here.
We also encourage parents of kids K-6th grade to download the Parent Cue App to keep up with our current curriculum and carry out beneficial conversations at home.

Safety is a top priority at Highland Kids; That's why we have a check-in process in place for you and your kids.
On your first visit, just look for the Highland Kids Check-In area, where you'll be greeted by a Highland Kids serve team member who is eager to meet your family. There, you will learn how Highland Kids works. We'll be there every step of the way (right up to your child's room), so feel free to ask questions!
Because we value safety and want to keep you informed on events and updates, we will need some information at that time including: family member's name, child's name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will text message you your child's name. Upon receiving a text from our serve team, please make your way to the appropriate classroom.
Other Safety Features:
Upon check-in, you and your child will receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the Highland Kids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from his/her room.
We also have security throughout our church, including police officers and security cameras.
